Beautiful. One morsel of time in each grain of rice echoeing in a jar full of memories.

So beautiful Kara. I can hear the grains of rice dropping in the jar as a beautiful music. What a dear life you have shared and share with us here. Thank you!

Beautiful meditation on time, each precious drop of it, and how it flows from one container to another so artfully. You are inspiring me to consider doing this, but what would I choose to mark each day? A marble? a lentil or bean? faux pearls? You have me thinking: how to mark and best live each day. That's a gift.

This is such a beautiful piece, Kara. I loved this a lot. The way you described your commitment to the idea to the point of all engrossing was so rich and intimate. You've inspired me, friend.
