I love the line “I felt like a huge presence, and yet the smallest thing in the universe all at once.” I really like the sense of hopefulness at the end, that the end is the beginning.

I felt a bit breathless reading this, captivated by the ebb and flow of thoughts and action. I loved this image: “I remember thinking that these were big thoughts. As if the expanse of the landscape gave my head more room to run.” And the pair of eyes in the mirror. And your choice to stop time with “Here.” And the ending. Haunting.
