This is a book in the making. A co-creation between Kara Westerman Grimshaw and the late Nicholas Roland Grimshaw. This is the place my husband lives, inside the ship I am making for us to ride on the winds of Eternity. For resurrection, magic, and transformation. Seriously. Because winds howl, mountains are treacherous, demons snarl and show their fangs.

Because it is a dive to go into our work. There’s an invisible barrier that tells us not to take the leap. The Daily Dive is a way to meet the cool fresh first page everyday.
And why is it daily?
Because going in daily hurts less, and is less cold. Ive learned this swimming in The Long island Sound. The longer you resist plunging in, the colder the water is. Even a small daily marker creates joy. We visit our projects for an hour. We make an appointment with our muse and keep it.
And why do it together?
Because it is easier to meet the strange creatures of the deep in the safety of a group. Also, writing with others offers a special kind of charged silence. I never knew watching writers write was so fascinating. After our appointments with our muses when we feel super sparkly, we will have some open Zoom time for chit chat.
