When life threatens to smash your vision, take refuge with us at Writers Daily Dive. Weekdays at 1:00. We meet. We chat. We mute. We write in silence. Alone and together! It's a little bit genius.
In order to focus on writing, my life has become smaller by necessity. It takes so much mental energy to show up for the looming book. I definitely need solitude. I need to set sail on a private vessel in order to focus on the slippery language I am always aiming to pin down. But then I also need others, like readers, and other writers and friends. That’s why I designed this space for writers to be in solitude and in company.
If it feels like you have set out to sea in your bottle and are having trouble making it back to land, then join us for an hour. We are multiplying faith for each other here at Writers Daily Dive. Write with us, paint with us, stare into space with us for an hour. Even if you don’t put words on the page it’s still worth it to make your appointment with the muse. Inspiration wont show up 100% of the time. But since I don’t know which days it will, I figure I should be there anyway at the designated time and place.
Join us for one hour of focus during the chaos of the day. We are practicing serious self-compassion by showing up even on dark days. We meet on Zoom at 1:00 pm, EST. We leave our cameras on so it feels less lonely. We wrap up at 2:00. Those who are onto something just continue writing. Those who want to check in can chat.
