Listen to whispers of inevitable fates.
Reminder: Write in silence with us, weekdays from anywhere in the world. We do it together at 1:00 on Zoom.
“In 1980, John Hejduk wrote in Domus magazine, ‘Libera’s Casa Malaparte is a house of paradoxes. It is an object which consumes. It is filled with unrequited histories. It is a relic left upon the pinnacle after the seas have subsided. It is a sarcophagus of soft cries. It whispers of inevitable fates.’” Thank you to tat.london for the above.

Writers Daily Dive is a growing fellowship of writers dismantling perfectionism together one hour at a time. We practice serious self-compassion by showing up even on dark days. We meet on Zoom at 1:00 pm, EST. We leave our cameras on so it feels less lonely. We wrap up at 2:00. Those who are onto something just continue writing. Those who want to check in can chat.
A subscription gets you a free week of the Writers Daily Dive. After that you can upgrade to $10 bucks a month. A month! That’s 2 coffees.
Thank you for the beautiful John Hejduk quote. Hejduk was my dean when I attended Cooper Union Arch School…he was an intriguing architect, first and foremost a poet of relational dynamics. For Hejduk, everything started there. Architecture was about creating environments, spaces, places where such dynamics could play out.
